Is the World going to end on January 1st, 2000?
A lot of folks have asked this question. The reason is because many people associate the year 2000 bug with Armageddon. If Y2K does happen then, it could definitely be the start of the events leading up to Armageddon.
The Bible says that before Armageddon and those final events the world will be ruled for 7 years by a One World Government headed by a tyrant known in the Bible as the Antichrist. The Bible says that this tyrant will demand worship and proclaims himself as the world's savior. If he does pick up the pieces after Y2K, a complete economic collapse, or another similarly catastrophic event then he could try to claim that title.
On the other hand Y2K speaks of the entire world saying "Peace and Safety" before the sudden destruction. If Y2K doesn't bring anything more than remote incidents, then it disillusion many folks and cause them to disregard further warnings.
