A third of major companies in the UK have already experienced information technology (IT) problems as a direct result of the Y2K Problem.
A British report said that computers have already been affected by the date-change problem even before the Y2K computer problem hits. It emphasized that most European nations have been more concerned about preparing computers for the Euro than making millennium bug fixes.
